| Koriana Bradford is the HGMAA Program Coordinator. She is a graduate of Berklee College of Music where she received a full four-year scholarship as a vocal principal, and majored in Music Education and Music Business Management. Ms. Bradford has worked with youth for many years in several capacities, including a before and after school teacher in Boston Public Schools. | | | | | |  | Elta Mae Sibley Garrett is the well respected, widely acclaimed soprano after whom the Hamilton-Garrett Music and Arts Academy was named, and is currently the HGMAA Vocal Instruction Coordinator. Born and raised in Louisiana, Ms. Garrett graduated from Grambling College with a degree in Music Education. After teaching in the Louisiana Public Schools for 6 years, Ms. Garrett came to Massachusetts where she taught in Boston Public Schools for 35 years and received a Master in Secondary Education from UMass Boston, and a Master in Moderate Special Needs from Boston College. | | | | | |  | Murphy Lewis is the HGMAA Instrumental Instruction Coordinator. He has over thirty years of experience has a music educator. Mr. Lewis has taught all levels of music education from pre-K to college, served as the Senior Program Director of Music Education in the Boston Public School System, and assisted in drafting the Massachusetts State Curriculum Frameworks for Music Education. In addition to working with the HGMAA, he currently teaches four courses in music theory at the New England Conservatory of Music and middle school chorus in Boston Public Schools.
| | | | | |  | Jonathan Lewis is the HGMAA Guitar Instructor. He is currently an 8th semester student at Berklee College of Music where he is awarded a full scholarship majoring in Music Production & Engineering and Music Business Management. Mr. Lewis is an up and coming music producer and guitarist who has shared the stage with such artists as Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith, Chaka Kahn, Floetry, and Bobby Brown. | | | | | | | |
